This Privacy Policy explains how EIGHTFINITY LTD ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of bestgiftsfor.net ("the Site"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our AI gift-finder tool.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide: when you use the gift finder, you select an age group, an interest, a vibe, and a language. These selections are sent to our AI backend solely to generate your three gift recommendations, and are not linked to your identity, stored in a database, or used for any purpose beyond generating that one response.

Contact form / email: if you email us at info@eightfinity.net, we retain that correspondence to respond to you and for our own record-keeping.

Analytics cookies: if you accept cookies in the banner, we use Google Analytics (Consent Mode v2) to understand aggregate traffic — pages viewed, general location (country/city level), device type, and referral source. This data is not used to identify you personally.

Advertising cookies: once Google AdSense is enabled on the Site, and only after you accept cookies, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, which may include personalized advertising based on your browsing activity. You can opt out at any time via Google Ads Settings.

2. How we use information

We use the information above to: (a) generate the gift recommendations you request; (b) understand how the Site is used so we can improve it; (c) serve relevant advertising, once enabled and only with your consent; and (d) respond to inquiries sent to us directly.

3. Third parties

We share the minimum data necessary with: Anthropic (processes your three selections to generate recommendations — see Anthropic's Privacy Policy); Google (Analytics and, once enabled, AdSense — see Google's Privacy Policy); and Amazon, via Associates affiliate links (see Amazon's Privacy Notice) when you click a "View on Amazon" link. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies

The Site uses a cookie-consent banner on first visit. Your choice (accept/reject) is stored in your browser's localStorage so we don't ask again, and controls whether analytics and advertising cookies are permitted, in line with Google Consent Mode v2. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for bestgiftsfor.net and reloading the page.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to its use for advertising. Since we do not require an account and do not store your gift-finder selections, most requests will relate to analytics or advertising cookies — see Section 4. 6. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
